We are very excited to announce that $42,000 net raised from Golf2Play 2024 will be donated to the Alexandra Park Project!
In September 2023, a collaborative effort involving Time2Play, Their Opportunity, the PS43 Foundation, the John Tavares Foundation, Tridel, Toronto Community Housing, Atkinson Housing Co-op, and the Alexandra Park Community Centre resulted in the successful refurbishment of a basketball court for the Alexandra Park community.
We're thrilled with the positive impact the renovated court has had on the community. Witnessing its significant impact has inspired us to take the next step: raising funds to build a second, multi-sport court that will offer even more opportunities for people to get active and connect.
This new facility will serve as a versatile space aimed at youth development and promoting wellness for players of all ages and abilities. The Social Development Plan for Alexandra Park outlines a common vision and coordinated strategy aimed at improving the quality of life for its residents. In collaboration with our neighbours, we're working to transform this area, fostering a vibrant community spirit, a renewed sense of pride, and a commitment to progress.
We are very excited to announce that $20,000 net raised from Bike2Play 2023 will be donated to Their Opportunity for sports and wellness focused programming in the Alexandra Park Community.

Their Opportunity aims to educate, uplift and support children to overcome barriers through the strength of sport and generosity. We do this by helping kids and families gain access by providing traditional subsidies for sport and recreation programs and by working with communities to deliver specialized sports for development programming.
We are very excited to announce that $34,000 net raised from our second annual Golf2play will be donated to Their Opportunity to start a new project in the Alexandra Park Community. We will building new basketball and multi-sport courts and will be providing programs for the kids in this community. We will be announcing more details in the near future.

Their Opportunity aims to educate, uplift and support children to overcome barriers through the strength of sport and generosity. We do this by helping kids and families gain access by providing traditional subsidies for sport and recreation programs and by working with communities to deliver specialized sports for development programming.
Proceeds from the Bike2Play Fundraiser held on October 15, 2022 will go to support various pillars of our program including individual subsidies and community programming.
The $22,800 net raised from the ride is projected to support over 195 youth in the following ways and area.
- 150 youth supported in the Peterborough area via Real Leon Soccer Club (funds provided previously went to equip kids with soccer balls; this time funding will go to directly subsidize program costs)
- 20 youth supported in the GTA via individual bursaries
- 25+ youth supported in the GTA via deliver of a mental health and wellness program, Body Meets Mind.

Since its inception, Their Opportunity has helped provide opportunities for over 25,000 children & affected thousands more through its Giveback Program translating to 351,000+ recreation hours, 87,500+ hours of community service or engagement in 55 communities across Canada.
1st Annual Golf2Play at Nobleton Lakes, Time2play net raised $17,000.
In Partnership with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), Bike2Play donated over $40,000. The funds donated were put towards selected schools to help re-build underfunded sports and physical education programs in high-needs areas.
In Partnership with Eva’s Initiatives
Bike2Play donated over $50,000. The funds donated were put towards providing safe shelter services through Eva’s which covers essentials like food and shelter for young people.
In Partnership with the Cardiac Health Foundation of Canada (CHFC), Bike2Play donated over $160,000 to Cardiac Kids in support of Sick Kids Hospital. The funds raised were put towards building Canada’s first Pediatric Cardiac Rehab Program and exercise room at SickKids Hospital.
